Betty Stallard

Betty's interest in art began in high school, where she studied  art and was a member of the Art Club. She continues to study art  and expand her portfolio.

While attending St. Petersburg's College she received an award  for the Best of Show for her painting “Chocolate Eclairs”. She  won People's Choice at Sterling Gallery in Dunedin, Florida for  her painting “Underwater Color”. At Largo Art Association Betty  won the People's Choice Award for an acrylic painting “Following  Our Leader”. Her first blue ribbon was won at an exhibit in  Frederick, Maryland, for her oil painting of the Great Smoky  Mountains.

Betty is accomplished in both oil and acrylics. During her  travels up north, she captivates the beautiful mountains, waterfalls, lakes, streams, flowers and wildlife in her paintings. In Florida she finds inspiration in the lush tropical  plants, wildlife, seascapes and beautiful sunsets.

Betty is an active member of Creative
Artist Guild, Largo Art Association, Tarpon Springs Art  Association, Alleghany Arts Council, and Alleghany Area Art  Alliance. She displays at various shows and exhibits at numerous  business and galleries.
